News:
10/31/2006: Happy Birthday Key Club! In October of 1966 the school and Kiwanis signed your charter which gave you offical status. Through these many years teachers like Mr. Luikart and Ms Lewis guided you through many hours of service to our community. Now, you are the Key Club of Year for the state. Congratulations! There will be free ice cream for you on October 31 at lunch. Thank you and Newman is proud of you.
10/30/2006: Hula for Hope was the best ever! More than 200 people from the local community came to eat, dance and win prizes! During the evening we had the joy of entertaining many children from the county. Wow! If you did not see the clever Halloween Village in the cafeteria you would not be able to imagine how Key Club transformed the room. God's richest blessings to every single person who donated to our emergency fund at the oncology center run by the P.O.S.T team. During this year you will feed, clothe and provide shelter for families who are already stressed with caring for a precious sick child.
8/31/2006: The Cardinal Newman Key Club was awarded the Service from a School Award for the first annual "Nice Neighbor Award Ceremony and Reception." This award was created to recognize and thank the citizens of the City of West Palm Beach for their local contributions. Congratulations also to James Kramer, a Key Club Senior, who was awarded Mayor Frankel's award to outstanding students dedicated to community service in West Palm Beach. James attended the Mayor's reception on September 16. Newman is proud of the work James has done with POST and the Quantum House!
