Financial AID and tuition
I.  Financial Aid

In an effort to assist families in meeting financial obligations associated with attending Cardinal Newman High School, the school makes several opportunities available to parents. The principal methods of assistance are:

1.) Participating Catholics whose parish verifies a family's involvement, both in terms of attendance and financial support, and send in the completed form are given credit in the amount of $1,100.00. Click here to view and download the Catholicity form.

2.) Financial aid is offered to some families who apply for assistance by completing the Private School Aid 2008-2009 application form and send the completed form and appropriate documentation in the envelope provided to the company's headquarters in Lakewood, Ohio. A committee at Cardinal Newman receives the company's analysis of a family's need and makes awards accordingly.

3.) Named scholarships (the number of scholarships awarded depends on the funds donated for the scholarships each year):

     Chris Brooks Mem. Scholarships
     Peter McCann Mem. Scholarships
     John Rahon Mem. Scholarships
     Andrew Dicembreno Mem. Scholarships
Sanchez de Ortigose Y Martin Scholarships
     Millrose Athletic Association Scholarship

Appropriate forms and applications for the above-named financial assistance tools are available from Mrs. O'Neill in the Business Office or online. Also, any questions that arise during the application process can be directed to Mrs. O'Neill. Please remember that to be considered for assistance, deadlines must be met in a timely manner. Late applicants may find that funds have already been distributed.
