Newman Family celebrates Baccalaureate Mass with the Class of 2010
The Class of 2010, joined by family, friends, and teachers, celebrated the Baccalaureate Mass on Sunday afternoon, May 16 in the Cardinal Newman High School gymnasium. Cardinal Newman High School President Father David Carr was the principal celebrant, and was joined by school chaplain Father Dumarsais. As part of the liturgy, members of the Class of 2010 were honored for outstanding academic achievements. In addition, class officers received medals for their work over the past year. Principal Clarke announced that 100% of the class is attending college, and over $7.5 million dollars was awarded in scholarship money to members of the class. Father Carr concluded the liturgy by exhorting each graduate to go forth and live the truths learned over the last four years at CNHS. Check back soon for pictures! Source: Mr. Clarke
