A Tradition of Giving That Relies on Your Generosity

As we begin the 2009-2010 school year, we reflect upon the many blessings Cardinal Newman High School has bestowed on us. Ellen and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to chair this year’s Annual Giving Appeal. As graduates of CNHS, and now parents of three current students, we value tremendously the many benefits of attending a faith-based institution. We also understand the sacrifices families make to provide this experience for their children.

 

Cardinal Newman’s operating budget of just over $7.3 million, which covers teacher salaries, educational supplies, extracurricular activities and many other items, is only partially funded by tuition. In fact, there is a $2,267 shortfall between tuition and the actual cost of educating each and every child. The school relies on the generosity of parents, alumni and friends to help keep tuition as affordable as possible.

 

During this challenging economic time, our school needs your support more than ever before.
