Welcome to the 2011-2012 Annual Crusader Fund…where every gift counts!
Last year, as we approached our 50th Anniversary, we made an important strategic commitment to build our newly named “Annual Crusader Fund” into the cornerstone of our fund raising efforts. We reached out to the entire Cardinal Newman family, who responded by nearly doubling the previous year’s contributions and generating close to $128,000.
Now our beloved school’s 50th Anniversary is finally here. We celebrate the past, and at the same time renew our dream of providing another 50 years of outstanding Catholic education.
To ensure that we are able to do so, we must propel our Annual Crusader Fund further to cover our ever increasing annual financial demands. The “Gap” between our tuition and the full cost to educate a student continues to exceed $2,000. This is because part of our mission is to make our education accessible to as many families as possible.
Our goal for this year’s Annual Crusader Fund is $160,000, and its uses will be very specific: Faculty retention and recruitment, tuition assistance, musical and theatrical programs, support for athletics, maintenance and security of facilities, and all other operating expenses. And as we continue to build the ACF revenue, we’ll be in a better position to make fewer, but more strategic appeals for financial support.
