2006 Varsity Volleball 
 
Led by the three captains, Senior setter, Meredith Hunt, and Junior hitters Brittany Tellex and Kara Wenz, the Crusader varsity volleyball team finished this year with one of the best seasons in recent years. The team won the District Championship on October 19th by beating St Andrew's in three straight games. Cardinal Newman continued on in regional play the following Tuesday night with an impressive victory over Westminster Academy. The season came to an end on Saturday October 28th with a hard-fought loss to Florida Christian in the regional semi finals.
